Provide a 150 word response to the below discussion question answer in apa format with in-text citations and references Organisations That Matter is a company in Australia that works with individuals that want to be better at what they do, and essentially want to excel. “Organisations That Matter exists to help leaders move Beyond Being Good” (Organisations That Matter, 2015). This company is essentially providing individuals with life coaches that help them exceed in any area of their life. These life coaches are serving these individuals for the sole purpose of making them better. This is similar to the ways of western culture and servant leadership because it is based upon the same principals of serving others for the greater good of that individual. When looking at both this Australian company, as well as the current western culture of servant leadership, I think across the board I can say that each has the prime concern of others, although there do appear to be some slight differences. With this company from Australia, the company makes their profit off of others, whereas with western culture and Christianity, it isn’t so much that individuals or organizations primarily just make money out of making people better. With the organizations goals being to improve someone, and they get paid for it, the incentive is a little different in regards to if it came from the heart. Regardless, this company still exists internationally, and still strives to make people more successful, happy, and they are there to serve those individuals. Organisations That Matter is a company in Australia that works with individuals that want to be better at what they do, and essentially want to excel. “Organisations That Matter exists to help leaders move Beyond Being Good” (Organisations That Matter, 2015).
