Competitive advantage is what sets an organization apart. A competitive edge is a necessary ingredient for an organization\’s long-term success and survival. Unique resources provide a company with a sustainable competitive advantage. The four characteristics of unique resources are value, rarity, ability to duplicate, and ability to exploit. Resources that have all four of those characteristics can be used to form sustainable competitive advantages.Construct a 2-3 page paper, based on the four characteristics of a product with potential for sustainable competitive advantage and based on the research you conducted; identify and discuss a company that does an effective job of utilizing these resources in the competitive marketplace. Also describe the product in relation to the four characteristics of sustainable competitive advantages.

Read three scholarly peer-reviewed sources from the CSU Global Library and prepare a 3-4 page paper. Each source should focus on one leader with each leader coming from a different industry. After reading these sources, develop a comparison between the leadership of the firms to answer the following questions and prepare a 3-4 page paper:

Figure 1.5 in the Burt, Cleavage, and Pinkerton text shows a graphic depicting a value chain.   Using a search engine of your choice from the Internet, your texts, or the University Library, research several different HR risk management issues and complete the worksheet. Cite at least five different HR risk management issues you have identified in your organization or past organization. Identify the HR risk issues; assess if the risk factor is high, medium, or low; and give an explanation of your risk factor rating. Present two socially responsible corrective measures you would recommend to eradicate or diffuse the risk. Responses must be written so that the entire worksheet has at least 1,000 words.  Format your worksheet using complete sentences, not phrases.
