Project description
Each student prepares and submits research paper as discussed in detail below. Write a twelve-page (minimum) paper (exclusive of title page and reference list) based on (one only) of the following scenarios:
Your principal is the corporate CEO of a large software company with international connections in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. He travels frequently. He is currently planning a trip to Kabul, Afghanistan to discuss the possibility of establishing business ties with some Afghan software start-up ventures. Your principal will fly to Kabul via commercial airliner. The meeting takes place in Kabul, Afghanistan. Information on Afghanistan is available from the following resources:

Detail the various concerns that you have as the protectee\’s protective services specialist. You will have a team of two exclusive of yourself. Cover each concern in detail. As a minimum, the following topics must be thoroughly covered:
1. – Threat assessment/risk analysis
2. – Consideration of the principles of protection
3. – Working the principal
4. – The advance
5. – Transport security including bomb search procedures.
Pablo Picassos legacy in the history of twentieth-century art is unparalleled. According to Gombrich, what does Picasso hope to achieve through Cubism (Gombrich p. 574)? As Gombrich explains, despite his originality, Picasso also owes much to the Impressionists and Realists (Monet, Manet, Courbet) as well as the post-Impressionists (Seurat, Van Gogh, Cezanne). Describe what earlier influences from the nineteenth century are reflected in Picassos work. How can these comparisons can help us understand Picasso as part of an evolution towards redefining the image in the Modern period as art transitions from focusing on subject matter to form (Gombrich 577-8)?
The order Kinetoplastida includes among its members a number of important human and veterinary pathogens, such as the African trypanosome Trypanosoma brucei. T. brucei is transmitted to humans by a bite of the Tsetse fly, and causes Sleeping Disease, an invariably lethal disease when not treated. Existing drugs for treatment are expensive, have toxic side effects, or are ineffective due to emerging drug resistance. T. brucei has a complex life cycle, which alternates between the bloodstream form found in the blood and tissue fluids of mammals, and the procyclic (insect) form in the midgut of the vector, e.g. the Tsetse fly.
During its life cycle, T. brucei undergoes a series of important metabolic and morphological changes in order to adapt to these distinct host environments. Bloodstream form T. brucei metabolises glucose to pyruvate and glycerol, and obtains all of its energy (ATP) by substrate-level phosphorylation during glycolysis. The mitochondrion of this life form is highly reduced (non-functional) and plays no role in ATP production. This is in contrast to the procyclic form, which mainly metabolises amino acids and has a well-developed mitochondrion where ATP is generated by a combination of substrate-level and oxidative phosphorylation.
Similar to mammalian mitochondrial membranes, also the mitochondrial membranes of T. brucei form a permeability barrier to ATP/ADP and metabolic intermediates, implying the presence of specific metabolite transporters. The mitochondrial carrier family (MCF) is defined as a group of proteins that are located in the inner mitochondrial membrane, and mediate the transport of a wide range of metabolic intermediates. Genomics and Proteomics analysis revealed the presence of 24 different MCF genes in the T. brucei genome and their encoding proteins in the mitochondrial inner membrane of this parasite.
Some of the identified 24 MCF proteins are rather unique to T. brucei, suggesting that these MCF proteins can be potentially used as novel and effective drug targets for the treatment of Sleeping Disease

please note this is a master level so it should not include vague statments where everything thing should be well referenced from scientific academic journals and books.
I will upload some literature to help with the write up

The paper has to be 10 pages explaining how people use the USPS mail service to mail illegal drugs and other things, what the postal inspectors are doing to crack down on the individuals, what happens to the individuals once they are caught and how are they prosecuted, then end with how they are trying to combat illegal mail.
As tolerances grow for the personal possession and use of marijuana, there is a need for purposeful and well-grounded discussions on the impact the relaxation of criminal sanctions involving marijuana may have. Do laws prohibiting the growing, manufacturing, harvesting, processing, transporting, sale, distribution, possession and/or use of marijuana in any quantity reflect the socio-political values of the community; whether that community is a local town/city, a state, or the nation? Do these laws keep us safe? If prohibitions against marijuana are lifted, what\’s next?
For the Final Project the student will compose a three-part position paper addressing the pros and cons of marijuana tolerance.
Part 1- How are the initial relaxations of the laws against marijuana an indication of a growing tolerance that should be fully adopted? All current restrictions against marijuana should be rescinded.
Part 2 – How are the initial relaxations of the laws against marijuana compromising the safety, security and quality of life in American communities? Prohibitions that have been modified should be re-enacted to their former restrictive level.
Part 3 – What impact will Part 1 and Part 2 have on the current prohibitions on other controlled dangerous substances (e.g., heroin, cocaine, meth-amphetamines, etc.)?
NOTE: This is not a position paper for the expression of your personal feelings regarding the topic. The paper should objective and identify legitimate and balanced arguments for all sides of the topic.

The topics related to blighted property for this section:
-Cost to Participants or Consumers (This will be Section 12 in your Proposal.)
-How much does your product cost to the participant or consumer?
Describe the cost structure. Is the participant or consumer paying the full cost for your product or service?
If not, what percentage of the cost are they paying and how is the true cost being subsidized?
For Section 13 – Budget (Section 13 in your Proposal.)
How much does the project cost to implement? Be sure to calculate all costs. The budget should include such categories as salaries and rates of pay, bonuses (if applicable), taxes and benefits, printing and copying, office supplies equipment, facilities leases, insurance (cover age accidents to participants, directors and officers, liability, other), telephones, transportation, conference fees, direct product costs, cost of goods sold, etc. Once you have calculated all costs, then identify what portion of the cost is attributed to the funding request.
Calculate the revenue generated by this project. Be sure to identify how much is from participant fees, sales, merchandising, fundraising (including categories for fundraising if applicable) etc. How much is anticipated from other funding sources including foundations, corporate gifts, venture capital, loans, owner equity, etc.? Be sure to identify sources.
In this section, provide a summary of all major budget categories. Include three columns. Column A should be labeled as \”Total Project,\”
Column B should be labeled as \”Total Proposal,\” and
Column C should be labeled as \”Total Other Sources.\”
Place revenue sources on top and expenses on the bottom.
Subtract the expenses from the revenues to show the bottom line.
Annotated Bibliography – Need five (5) Research Articles
See attached…the paper should look similar to the example document I have attached; only my topic is blighted property.
