Perception (information processing and cognition)

This paper is meant to explore how our experiences, beliefs, and biases can affect what we perceive. For example, those who are told that a Led Zepplin song played backwards has Satanic verses, but didn\’t hear it before they were told of this. Explore both auditory and visual aspects to this. Mostly visual. Visual perception is not always correct because sometimes they are based on our own assumptions or beliefs. A way in which we try to make sense of our environment. I\’m wondering if we can discuss to what extent all of these things affect perception, as well as if these phenomenon can account for situations such as officers in the US firing their weapon at a perceived threat. (Trayvon Martin case is what comes to my mind) How George Zimmerman may have harbored racist beliefs and led him to perceive a pack of Skittles as an actual weapon. So they main question that should be answered is: How much do our experiences, biases, and beliefs affect what we perceive? And can this phenomenon account for racially motivated civilian shootings by the police in the US?

Monitoring Tools For Compliance Plans

It\’s time to describe the monitoring tools for your two compliance plans in a way that all employees will understand at a large medical facility where you are the Compliance Officer.Your assignment is to write a 2-3 page section describing the monitoring tools for  compliance plan. (That means a total of 4-6 pages for the two plans; you can write them in one Word document.)Monitoring tools you should cover for each plan should relate to the policies and procedures you developed for  and .You chose policies/procedures under the key compliance areas of Compliance Standards, High-Level Responsibility, Education, Communication, Monitoring/Auditing (for Safety), Enforcement/Discipline, and Response/Prevention. (Check them out if you forget! Remember, you may have written about different policies/procedures for the two different compliance plans.) you are required to include research references throughout your compliance plan – for a total of 12 references for the whole project. That means one or two references per each monitoring tools section for your two compliance plans. APA format please and I have attached two papers that are in relation to this project.

ECON 450 paper

Analyze specific passages from the story as you make your points.

Discuss ZZ Packer\’s story Brownies in terms of Flannel OConnors idea of a moment of grace, as you see it defined in Michael M. Jordana Flannel OConnor: A Guide for the Perplexed and as you see it play out in OConnors story The Artificial Nigger. Analyze specific passages from the story as you make your points.
Study Jordans paper carefully in order to grasp the concept of the moment of grace and be able to use this terminology to discuss this moment for the character(s) in the story. In part, Jordan tells us that:
Mr. Head in \”The Artificial Nigger\”
is brought to a moment of grace or a
moment of judgment by means of violence.
we do not know whether or not the protagonists
accept their moment of grace, but
we do sense that they have been exposed
to something verging on the borderland
of mystery. And if we read this fiction in
the spirit in which it was written, our own
sense of spiritual realities and spiritual
mysteries will be enhanced.
Now, how will you apply these ideas from Jordan and OConnor to Brownies?
