CARE PLAN

Create a wholistic care plan for disease prevention, health promotion, and acute care of the patient in the clinical case. Your care plan should be based on current evidence and nursing standards of care. Visit the online library and research for current scholarly evidence (no older than 5 years) to support your nursing actions. In addition, consider visiting government sites such as the CDC, WHO, AHRQ, Healthy People 2020. Provide a detailed scientific rationale justifying the inclusion of this evidence in your plan. Next determine the ICD-10 classification (diagnoses). The International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) is the official system used in the United States to classify and assign codes to health conditions and related information.

Fruit or Vegetables

We have seen that the distinction between fruits and vegetables can be somewhat arbitrary. Please provide some examples of how a \’fruit\’ might be used as a \’vegetable\’ and vice versa. What is it about the  of the plant that makes this happen?Posts in this forum . Your texts are good places to start and external resources (not Wikipedia) are even better!

Gluten Formation Lab

This lab will require a write-up which highlights your observations and answers some questions where you can apply what you learned from your readings. The instructions and questions are here for your convenience and will also be in the assignment drop box.for noting your observations (sentence fragments are fine) and answering the written questions (well written paragraphs that make a connection to the readings) can be downloaded by clicking on the link.

Research Paper

prepare an in-depth comparative analysis research paper between two different firms operating in two different countries but which have similar challenges. This analysis will provide an opportunity for you to compare and contrast and critically assess the impact on management decision making based on the differences in political, social, ethical, and legal environments. Specifically, your paper should: Present your findings as a Word document of 3–5 pages formatted in APA style.

Determine whether you agree or not with the recommended actions.

Presenting the DataThreat, criticality, and vulnerability are the meat of risk assessment. However, the process doesn\’t stop there. Risk management includes the implementation of procedures and policies in order to protect assets from risk. To accomplish this, risk assessors must present a valid, orderly critique and recommendations to the intended audience.Submission Details:By , in a minimum of 300 words, post to the  your response to the following point:: Be sure to cite all sources used for the assignment, as well as a complete list of reference at the end of your post. Remember, you cannot have only in-text citations or only references. You must have both.By , read and respond to at least two of your classmates\’ posts. Determine whether you agree or not with the recommended actions. If you do, why? If you don\’t, why not and what would you do differently?

Paper

You can either use data you collect yourself, or data you find on the internet. Your paper should include 3 sections: an introduction where you introduce the question you are trying to answer and why you are interested in it, a methods section where you discuss how the data was collected, finally a results section where you analyze the data. Below is a more detailed description of what should be included in each section.  You should also consider how easy it will be to find or collect the data you want. You only have about a week to complete this paper, so you want to have a way to easily and quickly get data. A good source of data is from sports. People generally collect a lot of data about sport stars and sporting events. It can also be easy to find metrics on your own sports performance (depending on the metric and the sport). For example, you could try to estimate your average tennis serve speed, or the average serve speed for a professional player. Another easy way to collect data would be to do a convenience survey of you classmates or other students at the school. Remember that the variable you are measuring should be quantitative, so that you can actually compute its mean.              The data you used, as well as the calculations you performed should be in an excel file you turn in with you paper. Clearly label all of the information contained in each cell, and as much as possible reference cells containing numbers instead of typing values into functions. This will help me see your process.              There is not a hard page limit for the paper, but I expect that if you touch on all of the points listed below, your write up will be around 3 pages long. Remember your goal is to demonstrate to me what you have learned in the course so far.              A couple of final Remarks: Please have a rough draft of your paper prepared by Friday, July 8, and bring a paper copy to class. Also, when writing your paper next week, you can make the assumption that your sample standard deviation is the same as the population standard deviation. On Thursday next week, we will have a method for computing confidence intervals without this assumption, and it will be an easy edit to change your method. – What are interested in investigating? Why?- What question are you trying to answer? How was the data collected (by you or others)?- If it was a sample, was it an SRS, convenience sample, etc?- If it was an experiment, was it a randomized comparative experiment?, blinded? Matched-pairs?- What are possible sources of bias/issues with how the data were selected?- How might this affect your results?- I do not care if your data are collected with a good method or not, as long as you clearly recognize whether or not it is a bad method. – Start by examining your data.- Give the five number summary.- Are the values normally distributed? Skewed?- Include a histogram.- Are there any outliers?- Interpret.- Then analyze your data to answer your original question.- Describe the sampling distribution.- Compute confidence intervals at various confidence levels.- Interpret- Assuming your sample mean and standard deviation accurately estimate the mean and standard deviation for the population, compute the probability of a data point falling in various ranges. What are the top/bottom xth percentiles of the distribution?- Interpret- Include any other visualizations you deem appropriate.- Summarize your findings. How would you answer your original question?- What are possible sources of inaccuracies/error? Introduction: 10Methods: 20Results: 40Excel Sheet: 20Visualizations: 5Writing Style: 5 – Are your visualizations appropriate?- Are the axes at a good scale?- Are they clearly labeled?- Are they easy to read? – Is your writing clear? – Do you use appropriate terminology in the correct way?

Project

The final assignment in this course is intended to give you an opportunity to pursue something that interests you further and to demonstrate your knowledge of the science of cooking. While the final assignment is not due for a number of weeks, at this time you will be selecting a topic and submitting it for approval. There are three different options for you to select from:1. Recipe analysis – You will assemble a \’cook book\’ with a minimum of 8 recipes which might be organized by meal categories (such as entree, baked goods, desserts) or any other logical arrangement. This assignment, however, is more than just pulling together some recipes you like but rather is intended to demonstrate the knowledge you have built over the term. You will analyze each recipe and discuss the selection of cooking method, the impact of heat on the ingredients, and something about the key ingredients, and a discussion of the. The focus of this assignment should not be culinary but rather is intended to demonstrate your understanding of the science behind the recipe and make connections to the concepts described in your readings.2. Cooking project – Select a food product (but not chocolate chip cookies as Alton Brown already did that!) then find at least three recipes that result in variations in the final product. This assignment works best when you change just one variable at a time. For example, you might prepare the food using three different fats OR three different types of flour.  You will then prepare the food and evaluate the differences in the final products. Photo or video documentation should be included and the use of independent food critics is encouraged. Another approach might be to try making a food product, such as sauerkraut or sourdough bread, where the focus would be on the science of the process rather than the cooking.3. Final Paper – This will be an 6-10 page paper with properly cited references on a topic of your choice related to the science of cooking. An in-depth look at different cooking techniques or cuisines would be two examples. This assignment is intended to offer choices that best suit your interests and give you an opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the course concepts. If you think of something that you would be interested in pursuing other than the choices offered, please let me know. After you decide what approach you will be taking, write it up in sufficient detail to make it clear to me what you will be doing and how you will be emphasizing the science behind the activity. Pick your topic carefully as what is , will be what is  for the paper/project. Minor scope changes are fine but requests for radical changes in the couple of weeks before the due date will not be acceptable.
