Medical Assistants often have responsibiliities in a physicians office of performing lab test, monitoring and reporting results, and reviewing lab values from outside labs. One must be able to recognize critical lab abnormalities.
APA format and a minimum of 2 references, include a cover sheet and a reference page, and cite within the body of your paper.
Paper involves your research of lab test that you may perform including urinalysis, blood labs and microbiology. Include individual test, normal values and what abnormal lab values could indicate.

Microbiology: organisms that cause disease are classified as GRAM positive or GRAM negative. They are also identified by their shape. They can ne a virus, a bacteria, a fungus, or a protozoan. For the following list identify if the organism which causes the disease is it Gram+ or Gram-, what is its shape, and the name of the lab test used to identify it.

Transgender bathroom This is a big debate right now.They should be able to use whatever makes them feel human. We should not discriminate. I have a friend who was born a female and she never felt right, today at the age of 25 she is taking testosterone injections. He uses the ladies restroom or fact the he still has breast and lady parts. In December he is getting the breast removed. At which time, he plans on growing facial hair, and will use the men’s restroom even though technically according to his birth certificate he is a female and yes he still has female parts. He identifies as a male, dresses as a male, and yet has female organs.
