You are an \”up-and-coming\” analyst at a local manufacturing company that upper management has been considering for a management position. Read Chosky\’s Chapter 8 Kodaly Music for American Schools Grade 4. Answer the following:

What are the new musical skills that are introduced?
How does each skill build off of what the students have learned in previous grades? Be specific. What is the previously developed skill? How is the new skill related to the previous one?
What are the challenges and potential pit-falls that Chosky warns us about?
Then come up with a list of questions that fit into the following two categories (3-5 questions for each category):

Comprehension: What points are you unclear on? What is it about that point that is unclear? Be specific
Speculation: The form of these questions should follow \”if what Chosky says about X is true, then what does that mean for Y?\” In other words, apply what Chosky is saying about the music in the classroom and speculate about what that might mean about music in general, teaching in general, how we acquire knowledge, how we socialize, etc…

Did the filmmaker use any innovative narrative devices?
What do you think the filmmaker intends for the viewer to take away from the film?

Section III

Provide a brief critique (as in a movie review) including your impressions. Would you recommend the film? Why or why not? (You can include here how the acting/directing/writing succeeded or failed.)
