Short Story Analysis Assignment
Using the section of the LFC textbook Reading and Writing about Stories (440-447), apply elements of fiction (such as plot, characters, foreshadowing, setting, atmosphere, symbolism, motivation, and theme) to of the short stories Cathedral by Raymond Carver\”) in a two (2) page essay. Focus your paper three elements, making sure to document evidence of these elements from your short story. You must use proper MLA citation (parenthetical citation) when documenting evidence of these elements from your short story. Also, submit you paper in correct MLA format (Times New Roman, 12 pt. Research Report Model
1. Title Page (name of the organization that is being, or has a product/service/ program that is being researched; date)

3. Executive Summary (one-page, concise overview of findings and recommendations)
4. Purpose of the Research (what type of research was conducted (what is the hypothesis or goals of the research), what decisions are being aided by the findings of the research, who is making the decision, etc.)
