These articles will help with my final presentation because the provide insights into the hows and whys of using a SWOT analysis while also show the changes that the SWOT analysis has undergone over the last 10 years. Overall my research went well. I chose how to apply a SWOT analysis as one filter, and the used academic journals related to SWOT analysis as my other filter. My research into this area proved to not be challenging at all and left me with some great information that I can use for my final project.

Hello everyone,
I intern for a bridal designer, Sareh Nouri, and I help with production such as packaging, shipping, inventory, and more.
Strengths
Small production team helps monitor the quality of the gowns/veils/sashes being sent out. If it were too large, then mistakes would be made and the quality of items could be lower than expected by customers.
Everything is in one building, the pattern makers to the seamstresses to the quality control experts to the designer to the production coordinator. This makes it easier to monitor progress, have meetings, and overall ensure good communication.
The fabrics are outsourced from European countries such as Italy, they are of high quality, and then the garments are hand made in the USA.
Weakness
Not a lot of employees, they would not be able to handle a significant increase in demand (an increase if bridal orders). There is only one production coordinator that takes care of orders, invoices, and other duties. Not enough space within the facility to handle high volume of sales.
No real inventory system. Items are tracked in Good Docs
Order confirmations/invoices are kept in filing cabinets. There isn\’t anything tracking this online.
Opportunities
People are willing to spend money on their dream dresses, appealing to the fantasy of getting married, this company can continue to sell at premium prices because the customers want premium dresses.
Technology can help expand the amount of customers (maybe via a website, also getting in-touch with customers in other countries). Some technology allows virtual fitting rooms, brides could try on the dresses without the hassle of waiting for sample dresses to get to a specific boutique.
USA made brands are in high demand, it shows love for home country as well as supports citizens (more jobs).
Threats
Cheaper competitors with similar styles.
There is also a trend towards nontraditional weddings. Including wear sneakers, and casual clothing.
Since the fabric is outsourced, if political turmoil such as war takes place, it can delay or completely cancel the shipment of materials to the fulfillment facility.

2. These articles will help me support some of the information I will present. The article written by Anderson supports the threat of non-traditional weddings, while the article by Bennish supports the grow demand for USA made goods.
3. I search on ProQuest and and 1) I narrowed the time line to be within the last few years, and 2) I narrowed the search to newspapers and trade journals.
