According to Kastenbaum (2001); The Death system is defined as the \”interpersonal, sociocultural, and symbolic network through which an individual\’s relationship to mortality is mediated by their society.\”
In other words, when you as an individual experience death, either on a macro micro level, you do not do it alone. You come into contact with various elements of the Death System that allows you have experience the mortality on a social level.
INSTRUCTIONS: For this post find a recent example of society\’s Death System that you recently experienced or came into contact with and explain how it is part of the Death System.
NOTICE: Your example must be part of the Death System described by Kastenbaum; not the last time you personally experienced death.
