It\’s the perfect master because it allows me to specialize in what I\’ve studied. I did two years of engineering and then changed major media and humanities to the bachelor\’s and Political History at the Master. I had direct experiences in the digital world working in the world of commerce. I have always been very interested in public policy since I was sixteen, following my father\’s political campaigns. Then I was her speech writer and organized events to raise funds. I have always been part of the association: I was president of the young section of the Lions Club – Italy. For them I have been fundraising and organizing conferences. I did my first curriculum course in the Italian Parliament, doing the press assistant for Senator Vecchio.
why do you wish to study at UCL? I would like to study at UCL because it is a comprehensive master that combines development and technology with public policy. Nowadays, and more specifically in Europe, there is a need for public managers who are able to cope with digitization issues – just think of the robotization and automation process that involves the loss of human work. How to cope with these problems? Politics needs educated people who understand how to administer the public without doing the private interests. what are your career aspirations?
I would like to work on eurpee commissions that deal with digitization and privacy. After working in e-commerce I realized that the public has to make a lot of progress to ensure the security of citizens. I would also like to participate in think tanks like Indecon or BDO.
