As described in your text, in 2008, the campaign targeted for the Latino audience was expanded several times to help the population communicate better with their doctors. With 21 million Americans having limited proficiency in English, the goal was to help Spanish-speaking Americans get the most out of their visit to the doctor. The information was posted on PlanifiqueParaSuSalud.com and in English on PlanforYourHealth.com.

The campaign was called Hable con su Medico (Talking to your Doctor) and was developed to help improve doctor-patient communication through guidelines on how to take control of ones health. The campaign consisted of four major guidelines.

The Spanish mirror site, considered an exemplar in web-based outreach to Spanish-speaking people, was discontinued. From the management perspective, speculate as to why this may have occurred. Were there issues with this campaign that may have ultimately diminished its viability, for example?
