Analytic s in Healthcare

Case instructions: Student responses to case analysis should be limited to 400 words.
Answer the question(s) being asked; do not summarize the case.
The response is intentionally short, so get to the point.

Case name: Michael J. Ward, Keith A. Marsolo, and Craig M. Froehle, Analytics in Healthcare (Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, 2014).

Case introduction: The application of analytics in health care requires the transformation of data into usable information that can be relayed back to end users. The adoption of electronic health record systems (EHRs) and other electronic data mechanisms makes the application of analytical tools more tractable by providing the basic electronic data upon which to act.

Assignment:
1.Discuss different ways to use analytics to take advantage of health data.

2.Identify the potential risks associated with having all health data in one single repository.

3.Should the private industry control such data repository?

4.Discuss some of the challenges identify in the case. AND
a)These include overcoming privacy concerns,
b)collecting high-quality data and making it available,
c)developing data standards,
d)communicating data to end users,
e)and having enough qualified personnel to deliver on such promises.

Task: Write a report that explores how a business sector can demonstrate its responsibilities today. the following sector that I want you to write about is :
1 Coffee farming in Latin America
Your report should attempt the tasks below. It should provide examples drawn from specific firms in support of your arguments.
a) Examine and discuss the key issues of corporate responsibility relating to your chosen sector. Weighting 50%
b) Analyse and explain what you consider to be \’best practice\’ within the sector, making reference to ethical theory. Weighting 40%
c) Make recommendations for businesses in the sector to show they are being more responsible. Weighting 10%
Blatant reproduction of your chosen companys material will lead to failure. The paper copy report should be typed, double-spaced and no more than 3000 words in length excluding appendices. You must acknowledge your sources of information and evidence, using the Harvard referencing system. An electronic copy of the assignment should also be submitted through Turn IT In (via the VLE) at the same time.

Objective: Explaining the principle of persuasion.
Principles of strategy writing include 1) Simplifying and clarifying written information. 2) Delivering goal-oriented messages. 3) Crafting sentences that enliven written information to engage the reader

Procedure: for this writing project, assume the following perspective:
The goal is to convey basic ideas about persuasion to imaginary people, who, like you, wish to improve their writing.
2) Imagine that these people know next to nothing about the nature of persuasion in the context of strategy writing.

Topic #1:

Tolstoy said that in Anna Karenina he wanted to portray a woman who was not guilty, but only pitiable. Does he achieve this? How or how not? Support your answer by references to specific wording from the novel and by using concepts from the Psychology readings.

OR

Topic #2:

By paying attention to specific word choice applied to the different characters in the novel and by using concepts from Psychology readings and lectures, describe the differences between the relationship of the two main couples of the novel: Levin and Kitty, Anna and Vronsky.

You should use at least 3 Psychology articles.
