Medical DISCUSSION BOARD

As you now know, the role of the MDI is to be the eyes and ears of the ME/C, so the ME/C can determine cause and manner of death. What information, reports, and documents must the MDI gather (other than the investigative reports you produce) to aid in that final determination of cause and manner of death? How will these records or information help determine cause and manner of death? Are gathering all of these records necessary in every case? Why or why not?Be sure to support your opinions with credible research and to cite and reference your sources in APA style. Remember, writing mechanics count in every post you make.

Entrepreneurial Opportunities

In this assignment, you will submit the last portion of your draft business development plan for your company, covering the specific opportunity assessment along with the trends and discussion on sustainability. This plan will align the company’s efforts to exploiting entrepreneurial opportunities, depending on the company’s capabilities. The plan should reflect consideration of potential future impacts on these plans such as changes in the economy, market position, technology innovation, or sociopolitical factors. : Develop a list of entrepreneurial opportunities outside the confines of the company you selected. Each opportunity in your list should have supporting rationale based on your market domain evaluation and PEST analysis. : Select one entrepreneurial opportunity from your list to assess. How viable is the opportunity? Your response should be supported with evidence from your market domain evaluation and PEST analysis. : Evaluate key trends affecting the global business environment of your selected market domain. These could be geographic, political, or societal trends, or they could be trends specific to your market domain. : Determine how these trends will impact the development of your selected intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial opportunities. : Determine how these trends will affect the sustainability of your selected company. Which trends could be used to improve sustainable business operations?: Your paper must be submitted as an 8-10-page APA-style Word document with double spacing, not counting the cover page and reference page. It must be in 12-point Times New Roman font, with one-inch margins and at least three authoritative sources cited in APA format.

2 in 2 out firefighter rule

Project description
Survey a minimum of two fire departments (more than one) by visiting and talking to a sworn firefighter, who may be any rank as long as they are a full time employee. This means that they cannot be an explorer, reserve or an auxiliary. Remember that this is two fire departments not two stations of the same department. Do they follow Two-in/Two-out that is referenced on page 133 in the textbook. Are the local Fire departments truly following this regulation? Are they violating any laws? Provide examples of who is and is not. Justify your comments.

Your paper should have greater depth than the topic received in the book. The paper should include the writers (you) own conclusions and not be merely a book report. This document must not be a simple cut and paste. At least three sources should be used and properly cited with footnotes or scientific citations, and a bibliography should appear at the end of the paper.

Your paper should be 7 to 10 pages in length, but this is not a rigid requirement, and it will be graded only on content

For Reference:
I interviewed San Bernardino County Engineer Estrella, which informed me they do follow the 2 in 2 out format unless a rescue of a victim is required.
Also interviewed paramedic Jeremy out of Downey, CA. They also follow 2 in 2 out format. however sounded unsure in their responses

FOR KATETUTOR ONLY Program Evaluation

In this assignment, you will be considering a case study and then applying what you have learned in this module about research and evaluation. Case Study Beginning in March last year, a year-long media-based campaign was aired on radio and television and in print in British Columbia. Aimed at smokers in the age group of twenty to thirty years, it is intended to influence them in ways that will lead them to stop smoking. The logic model for the smoking cessation campaign is quite simple and reflects the prevailing views about program theory that are relevant to this kind of campaign. Given below is a part of that logic model, focusing on outcomes. The components, implementation activities, and outputs are not shown, but they focus on the amounts of media coverage on the radio and television and in newspapers. The campaign is intended to last a year and is intended to be implemented in segments. The first segment begins in March and ends in April, the second one is being implemented in July and August, and the third in October and November. As you can see from the logic model, the campaign is intended to initially reach a group of smokers in British Columbia (awareness of the campaign) and, once they are aware of the campaign, to increase their knowledge of smoking-related issues that might appeal to persons in that age group. One television advertisement, for example, shows a man standing outside a bar smoking a cigarette. As he inhales, he ages. As he exhales, he becomes younger again. The message is that if you quit smoking, most of the effects on your body are reversible. A website is provided so that viewers can get information to help them quit. Exposure to these messages is intended to affect attitudes toward smoking (to make them develop a view that smoking is not good for them and that they want to change their behaviors). Attitude change is expected to lead to changes in behaviors: attempts to quit, cutting back on smoking, and actually quitting. The Evaluation The evaluation of this province-wide program is intended to determine whether the program logic works as intended, i.e., whether people are aware of the campaign, whether the campaign increases their knowledge, whether their attitudes change, and, finally, whether they try or succeed in quitting smoking. The evaluation of the planned smoking cessation campaign in British Columbia is focused on the effectiveness of the campaign. More specifically, the evaluation is intended to address these questions: The key issue for the evaluation design is to determine how the campaign affected the aforementioned attributes of persons who have self-identified as smokers.Given that the campaign is province-wide, it will be difficult to find a control group that has not been exposed to the campaign. Given the costs of the campaign, the evaluation will need to focus on British Columbia and not try to find a comparison group in another province.Population surveys of British Columbia residents suggest that approximately 15%–20% of the people in the age group of twenty to thirty years smoke. These smoking rates vary from one region to another and with sociodemographic characteristics of British Columbia residents.Tasks:Design an evaluation report that will be able to assess whether the smoking cessation campaign was successful. An important part of any proposed design is to assess whether the program theory actually worked the way it was intended, i.e., whether persons became aware of the campaign, whether their knowledge increased, whether their attitudes then changed, and whether attitude changes led to smoking cessation behaviors. To ascertain whether the campaign impacts smokers in the way the program logic is intended, it is important to design an evaluation that actually tracks the way the campaign influences smokers over time. Ideally, the evaluation team wants to be able to see whether the program was visible; if it was, whether knowledge increased; if that happened, whether attitudes changed; and if attitudes changed, whether changes in behavior have been reported. In a 2- to 3-page paper, explain the following:Submission Details:

Population:HIV/AIDS1 page including referencethink back to the first time you rode your bike without your parent’s steady hand to guide you along the path. Even if you never learned to ride a bike, you likely can imagine how it might feel to look behind you and discover the absence of that steady hand to keep you upright. At first you might wobble due to a sudden surge of uncertainty and fear in your chest. But as your confidence builds, your ride smoothes out, and a smile invades your face as you realize that you are riding your bike all by yourself. Now imagine if you focused on that initial fear of riding the bike without help and as a result you fell and scraped your leg. Focusing on the fear rather than focusing on the fact that you were in the midst of successfully riding your bike might have caused you to fall. Being paralyzed by or focusing exclusively on the fear are examples of an ineffective response to stress that results in no reduction of the anxiety and no resolution to the situation. With a scraped leg, your parent is now at your side comforting you and reminding you that your leg will heal and next time the outcome will be better. Social support like this is known to be an effective buffer against the impact of stress and enhances recovery from disease.Humans develop and learn within a social context. Culture and social interactions are part of the environmental framework with which the organism continually interacts. Therefore, you might reactively know how to escape a dangerous encounter; however, coping with less harmful situations often is learned and influenced by those in your environment. There is strong evidence that context affects coping strategies. Consider how social context is fundamental to understanding stress and coping. For this Discussion, review this week’s Learning Resources including the “Coping in a Social Context” handout. Consider how social context affects the development and effectiveness of coping mechanisms to manage stress. Think about whether social context has an impact on coping mechanisms for the population
