Professor\’s Instructions : Take any one of the post-classical, neoclassical, or post-neoclassical writers from the assigned list and write an analysis of one of his or her works, showing how she/he used and transformed a classical myth that you have previously read. Be sure to incorporate any one-peer review critical study of both those works.

I chose for my research to write about Archibald MacLeish : \”Calypso Island\” POEM (since I have read The Odyssey by Homer I wanted to show how the myth of Calypso on her Island is transformed in Archibald\’s poem )and incorporate a peer-reviewed critical response to the poem. (preferably from a database )
You need not to include MacLeish life and times.
A minimum requirement of three in-text citations (whether in the form of summary, paraphrase, or quotation ) from at least one peer-reviewed source.

Each student will have the opportunity to research two different species of organisms living in the Aphotic Zone and the Photic Zone in the worlds oceans. The students will need to pick one primary producer species and one animal species from each of the zones and write a 4 to 8 page research paper.
Requirements for project:
o Two different species from Photic Zone (primary producer & animal) 25 pts/species
o Two different species from the Aphotic Zone (primary producer (get creative, theres really only 1 true one of these.) & animal) 25 pts/species
Research the name of species & background information 2 pts.
Location where it is found 2 pts.
History/interesting facts about the organism 2 pts.
Habitat (depth, etc) 2 pts.
Feeding, diet 2 pts.
Reproduction 2 pts.
Behavior/instincts 2 pts.
Adaptations 2 pts.
Social behaviors (interactions with other species or same species) 2 pts.
Must include pictures of each species (these do NOT count towards total pgs) 2 pts.
o For each species you must have a minimum of 1 page 12pt ft, double spaces, times new roman paper 5 pts.
o Grammar and spelling count! 5 pts.
o You will need at least 2 sources for each species (a minimum of 2 sources total) and you MUST properly cite using APA format. (the link below will help you create proper citation!) 10 pts.
