Week 4
COLLAPSE
According to the information in the articles, in order to have a succesful life you need to be smart and work on your public relations skills. If you ever want to grow in a company or have someone to count on if you may not make it one day are your coworkers. You need to keep up with them, try to be open without jeopardizing your privacy. Probably some gifts from time to time or a compliment might also work. Just try to avoid to get in to a relationship with anyone who works at your office. If one day you break up, you will have to deal with that person for a long time unless one of you quits the job or both get fired. (Tysiac, 2014)
If you ever get more involved with your coworkers, which usually happens even more if you go out with them sometimes to build relationships, try not to involve hot topics such as religion and politics because you can end up creating hate. (Matteson, 2013) Seems sad not to be able to tolerate each others opinion, but it is the reality. I once worked as a valet parking in Miami beach on Collins Avenue. So I met a lot of people from different nationalities, and I actually had to work out in order to understand their way of thinking and speaking so I could have a positive workplace experience. I began to talk to them, ask them about their families, how do they feel, if they got accustomed to America, etc. Sometimes we shared lunch, and thanks to that, one day they gave me the ride home when my car was getting repaired. In conclusion, you need to accept and understand that you have to deal with people. Whether you like it or not, you are not the only human being, and you need to have communication with others if you ever want to enjoy life.

COLLAPSE
Hello Professor and classmates,
I have been in my workplace for a period. During my interview, the manager talks about the coworkers which I find it very strange. But I listen. All I could say to myself is two side to a story. There must be a reason for whatever is happening in the work environment. During my interview and showing me around. They pointed out all the trouble makers. I shake my head. Then the supervisor said to me dont get yourself caught up between these girls. They will laugh with you. But talk about you behind your back. Right there I am assuming the coworkers had a lot to say about the manager and supervisor. Which they did. Nevertheless,
The one thing I always do at any workplace or even if I volunteer is keeping myself professional. If a situation with a less than pleasant co-worker come my way, the best piece of advice that I can offer is to keep personal details at a minimum. I will not divulge anything about myself after-hours life that they could potentially use against me. Also, I never want to respond from an emotional place in a work setting. There is a time I have seen not-nice co-worker insulted the next co-worker face to face, I just shake my head. But would recommend to the person taking a breath, clearing your head, and responding in a professional and calm manner. will be the best benefit in the long run, even though it may be difficult to do.
