Part I/Unit I: Multi-tiered Systems of Supports

Directions:
Complete the Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS): A Comprehensive Framework for Implementing the California Common Core State Standards (CA CCSS) professional learning module (four units). All documents are attached there are four units.
These four units provide guidance on how to integrate supports and structures into instruction to systematically address barriers to access and opportunity and support the learning of ALL students. The module provides an overview of MTSS as a framework for designing and organizing system-wide resources, strategies, and practices when implementing the CA CCSS for English Language Arts and literacy (ELA/Literacy). You may also refer to a copy of the CCSS for ELA/Literacy throughout the module.
Provide a written analysis that addresses all aspects of the required prompts to demonstrate your ability to synthesize and critically analyze concepts. Your analysis should be 5-7 pages in length (not including title page, reference list or appendix), double spaced, and include a combination of references from textbooks/articles used in the course, and outside reading/research. All sources should be cited in APA format (6th Edition). Please review the rubric for details regarding the quality of writing that is expected at the graduate level.

Part V: Integrating MTSS in School Growth Plans
Read the Foothill Single Plan for Single Achievement in the course as an example of how a School Growth Plan can be fully integrated with MTSS. Review the School Growth Plan your wrote and and modify it as appropriate to incorporate MTSS as a researched-based strategy. Submit your revised School Growth Plan with all modifications highlighted in yellow.
