New Idea

This New Capability at the Unit Level Paper should be 1500-2000 words, in APA format, with six references. In a previous lesson, you produced a new capability proposal within USSOCOM.
For this lesson, you have two options:
(A) Take your new capability from last week or
(B) Pick something you would like to change at your unit that you can use the 17 step process for that involves a cultural change (or something that may face resistance)
Discuss its implementation at the O-5 or O-6 unit level. How would you implement this change if given the task to execute? Take the role of the Project Lead/Change Manager and discuss your interaction with the Change Leader, Change Agents and Early Adopters. This is an individual paper.
Walk this change through the 17-step process. Are there any steps that can be omitted for this change? What steps do you foresee performing? What steps are going to be performed by the change leader?
Paper should follow this format:

One good reason why the government became involved with labor conditions is due to terrorism and threats to U.S Citizens and our country. The Patriot Act is a good example of a law that was created after the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. This new law introduced changes, and gave the U.S. government the authority and power to investigate, and surveil, suspicious persons. This can be done without the companys knowledge. This introduced some complexity where employers now needed to be careful and balance protecting candidates, and employee rights, but also abide by this new law. Other acts, such as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, allowed the government to more easily access voicemail and email communications. The Foreign Intelligence Survey Act allows for access to communications in the event that terrorism is suspected, this can be done without the employer even knowing it is taking place (Dias, L. P., 2011).
