IP3 Ethics in Healthcare

Deliverable Length: 1215 slides with 75150 words of speaker notes + at least 2 scholarly resources
In a recent department head meeting, chief executive officer (CEO) Beranger discussed managed care and why Silver Creek Hospital is engaged in what she feels is an important method of health care delivery. Interestingly, not many people in your organization are familiar with some of the personal and professional ethical concerns and challenges that may arise as a result of managed care. In an effort to inform the staff about managed care, CEO Beranger asks you to construct a PowerPoint presentation that introduces 23 ethical concerns, issues, or challenges of managed care. You also are asked to provide an overview of how managed care impacts the physicianpatient relationship. You also feel it necessary to add 12 slides that discuss the history of managed care.

Commerce Clause related back to the American Government

The governments abuse of the commerce clause in the constitution and why it needs to be reeled back in.

I was thinking something along the lines of this for my question.

\”Is Congress\’s expansive view of the commerce clause a threat to individual liberty?\”

I obviously cant have it be an opinion based paper but more of facts supporting that thought if that makes sense.

Concepts and applications:Describe how someone might infer that one event \”causes\” the other.

To prepare for this Discussion:
Review the Concepts and Applications exercises on pages 319320 of your text, attached where you will find several problems describing real-life examples of correlation and causation. Think about how you might respond to the questions posed.
Think about what real-life situations you have noticed that might show a correlation between two things. Perhaps it\’s a relationship between two events you\’ve observed. Or maybe you read online or in a newspaper that as one thing changes, so does another.
Determine whether the correlation is positive or negative.
Describe how someone might infer that one event \”causes\” the other.
Decide if this causation is reasonable, or if there is another explanation for why the two events are correlated. How might you decide, using scientific methods, whether one variable actually causes the other to occur?
By Day 3
Post a 1- to 2-paragraph write-up including the following:
Describe a correlation in your daily life.
Using scientific methods, explain how you determined whether one variable causes the other to occur.
In the example you chose, describe what factors you need to be aware of when trying to establish a causal relationship.
Decide whether the scenario represents a case of positive or negative correlation, and explain your choice.

Explain how standardized tests, like the SAT, promote inequality within society.

Precision and Clarity

Word Choice:

Make certain every word means exactly what you intend it to mean.

Informal writing uses words like feel, stuff, like, and other non-specific words while formal writing aspires to be clear and definitive

Colloquial Expressions:

Write clearly without spoken expressions that are approximations

Avoid spoken expressions like practically, very much, and a lot of.

Dont start sentences with the conjunctions and, or, but.

Jargon:

The use of technical words in an attempt to smarten, or make a paper seem more scholarly, even where the usage is irrelevant or even out of place.

Use the moisturizing cleansing bar with a pressurized hydration system to eliminate the condensed foreign particulate.

Use soap in the shower to get clean works just fine.

In what ways do governmental powers overlap?

In what ways do governmental powers overlap?

Governmental powers and responsibilities intentionally overlap. for example, congressional authority to enact laws can be checked by an executive veto, which in turn can be overridden by a two-thirds majority vote in both houses, the president serves as commander in chief, but only the congress has the authority to raise and support an army, and to declare war, the president has the power to appoint all feeral judges, ambassadors, and other high government officials, but all appointments must be affirmed by the senate, and the supreme court has final authority to strike down both legislative and presidential acts as unconstitutional. this balancing of power is intended to enrue that no one branch grows to powerful and dominates the national government.
