Compare U.S. Bill of Rights

Consider how rights vary across “time and space”. In other words which rights are chosen to be included in constitutions and how these rights are defined and interpreted vary across countries and across states in the United States at the same point in time (the space dimension) and vary at different points in time within the same country. As you compare the U.S Bill of Rights and the Florida Declaration of Rights, on the one hand, with the European Union Charter, look for example at how rights concerning religion are described. Likewise, can you detect any differences in provisions for capital punishment or gun rights. Can you locate the right to privacy in the U.S. Bill of Rights? Is it found in the Florida Constitution or in the EU Charter?  When you examine the European Charter on Human Rights do see any rights listed there that aren’t in Bill of Rights in the U.S. Constitution? Hint: Notice that the EU Charter contains a number of social and economic rights. Why would such rights be found in the EU Charter but not in the U.S. Constitution\’s Bill of Rights?  Give examples of what you discover and think about why these differences may exist. Keep in mind that these versions of \”rights\” were written at different points in history (the time dimension again). For example, the U.S. Bill of Rights were written in 1789 and ratified in 1791. The EU Charter evolved late in the 20th century. Does this time line tell us anything about how to think about rights? Lesson 2 also has a link to the Pennsylvania Constitution, in case you want to examine that document as well. Article I is the Declaration of Rights

You have to read a complete story about \”Happy Days\” in the file below, then write me a reading response. Your format should follow the below: *** Even the sentences should be as the written number. Length: 1 sentence.  This question will point to an aspect of the assigned reading that the student would like the class to examine. Length: 4-5 lines of text.  The quote will derive from a section of the assigned reading that the student considers interesting, unusual or challenging.  In choosing a quote, it is important to consider whether or not a passage is rich enough to enable sustained analysis.  The quote should be presented as it appears within the primary text. Length: 5-6 sentences.  The goal of the analysis is to offer a clear, specific and detailed explanation of what is being said within the quote, why it is being said and, above all, how it is being said.  The best way to do this is to identify the key elements within the quote and to explain how they function and how they relate to each other.  Elements can be words or short phrases. To identify how an element functions, you may wish to consider diction, imagery, sound or allusion.  To describe how elements are related, it is important to consider the structures that the author has used to relate them. Such structures include clauses, lines, sentences, verses, speeches and paragraphs.  All discussed elements should be quoted within the analysis. Paraphrase is not the same thing as quotation.  For analysis to be effective, it must be thorough, detailed and specific. Broader points about the quote should all emerge from the discussion of the quote’s most important linguistic elements.

Analysis and diagnosis of a sports center project, and proposed improvements

Using with the attached blueprints, first provide a detailed description (number, type and dimensions) of the sports and auxiliary areas that make up the facility as if you were explaining it to a person who is unfamiliar with the establishment and is not viewing the corresponding blueprints.

Next, analyze (supporting your comments) whether the layout of the facility\’s sports and auxiliary areas is appropriate, taking into consideration all the criteria explained in Unit 1: entrances, user flow organization, sports area orientation in accordance with the sun\’s path, etc. You may also consider anything you deem applicable about sports and auxiliary areas included in the facility.

Afterwards, prepare a short summary highlighting five strengths (aspects that have been properly addressed in the facility\’s design) and five weaknesses (aspects that have not been properly addressed in the facility\’s design, regardless of whether they can be improved or not) you believe are the most relevant in the analyzed facility.

Lastly, propose three feasible actions for improvement and prioritize them, justifying in a reasonable manner the need or importance of each one.

The student must upload a file to the Virtual Campus that includes:
A detailed description of the sports facility.
A general analysis of the sports facility.
Strengths and weaknesses in the facility\’s design.
Proposed improvements.
The document must contain a maximum of five pages.

The art abstraction

Think of your local grocery store as an abstraction. What is it an abstraction of?
What are the benefits of thinking of it as an abstraction?
Are there any drawbacks to this appropach?
Look at the elements that the grocery store is an abstraction of and think of them as abstractions as well. What are they abstractions of?
Continue this process a few more levels.
Can we make any generalizations about the use of abstractions and human progress?
