othello

Someone who appears in a work of literature is called a \”character,\” the same word we use to refer to those qualities of mind, spirit, and behavior that make one individual different from every other. The similarity of terms is not mere coincidence, for the creation of an imaginary character by author and reader is almost always based on some conception of human character and of individual differences.
Plays have a special relation with character because of the visual and concrete manner in which they portray people on stage. Plays must \”reveal \” character–that is. dramatize the kind of people they are by their own words and actions. Characters who appear on the stage or on the drama\’s page ultimately have to be credible in their own terms.
With these points in mind, choose one character from Othello,. and explain why that character is believable–explain why the character\’s personality, actions, and motivations are crafted in a way that readers and audiences may grasp the truth of the character\’s representation.
this should be a 5 paragraph essay, one intro, three body paragraph and one conclusion.
The writer can make this essay better with personal anecdote. Name someone who shows similar personalities as characters in Othello do.

History

Topic 1: Whether or not the Constitution supported the institution of slavery was a very controversial issue in the years leading up to the Civil War. Even many who hated the institution (for a variety of reasons) werent necessarily sure that slavery was unconstitutional, per se. Interestingly, the Constitution never uses the words slaves or slavery at all, even though those gathered at the original Constitutional Convention hotly debated the issue. This was intentional. Your job is to read between the lines and decide whether or not you think the Constitution at the time of the Civil War mostly supported or opposed slavery. There is no slavery article of the Constitution, so you will have to think carefully about what you read in the other articles. It will take some detective work, though I think you will find plenty of evidence from a careful reading. You must use specific evidence from the Constitution to back up you argument. Keep in mind that those debating slavery and the Constitution before the Civil War ONLY have the Constitution through Amendment XII (12)! Do NOT draw on any part of the Constitution past Amendment XIII (12) for evidence!
You can find the text of the Constitution here: http://constitutionus.com/.

Topic 2: Was Reconstruction a success, or a failure? You will evaluate this question from FOUR (4) perspectives: the Radical Republicans, Southern Democrats, former slaves, and your own opinion. In other words, how would each of those four groups feel about Reconstruction when the dust settled in 1877?

As the company prepared to meet demand and capacity requirements for its planned future growth, you have been asked to review the current forecasting strategy and help implement a new strategic plan for forecasting demand. The new forecasting plan ties directly to the overall strategic planning methodology established by the company. the company historically has used a time series method. The forecasting methods under consideration are the following:
* Qualitative: human judgment, usually best used when little data is available.
* Simulation: the use of computer models or judgment to imitate customer behavior
*Causal: used when there is a direct tie between demand and an environmental factor, such as cold weather.
* Time series: the use of historical data to predict future needs.
Using course materials and other research, complete the following:
* Identify which forecasting technique or multiple techniques should be used in the future for the company\’s strategy. Are there other techniques available that are not listed above?
* Explain the technique you identify, and give an example of how it is used in the manufacturing, retail, and health care industries.
* Detail if 1 of the 4 techniques listed above should Not be used and why?
* Evaluate the significance of forecasting error for the techniques or techniques you have selected what is the impact of error on your chose technique?

The Burning Building, (Page 51) Assume you approach a burning building and hear voices come from both ends, each seeking help. Assume the fire is burning so rapidly, , that you have time only to go to one end of the building or the other end of the building. Initially you hear multiple voices at one end, and a sole voice on the other end. Which way do you go? Why? Now include some additional information; the sole voice at the end of the building is a close family member. Do you still choose to go to the end of the building with the multiple voices? If not, what has changed? What will be the different approach(s), if any and why?

Borderline Personality Disorder; does the language used by professionals affect the way that service users are perceived by mental health professionals and does this perception affect the care received by service users?

This dissertation is a discourse analysis of the language used by mental health practitioners when working with service users who have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder (also known as emotionally unstable personality disorder), and whether the terms used (words such as manipulative and attention seeking) affect the care that they give to service users. I have already carried out a literature review for a previous assignment and have some references available from this. The dissertation needs to be from a social work perspective and as such needs to mention the BASW, the Professional Capabilities Framework and the HCPC coder of conduct. My lit review found that the language created a negative perception of service users which adversely affected care, but that this was less likely to happen with social workers than with other mental health professionals such as mental health nurses. Overall, social workers were much better at working with these individuals. I can email PDFs of the literature that I used for my lit review.
Please feel free to use your own headings and other research – this can include online blogs from service users if you would like to include some personal experiences but should be mostly academic. I can also provide a copy of the learning outcomes required.
