In the experiment, you can use/imagine the use of Spread plates and the sensitivity disc method of determining antimicrobial activity. Basically any lab materials were available, along with the following micro organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia Coli, Pseudomonas Fluorescens and Bacillus Megaterium.

Through the journal entries, students will demonstrate their understanding of the issues discussed and use these ideas and reflections to enhance their own diversity consciousness and awareness. Students will be required to submit journal entries for seven (7) weeks of the course. Each of the seven (7) submitted entries will be awarded up to 10 points. Each entry should be one (1) page in length. Points will be awarded based on the student\’s self-reflection, relevance to diversity, understanding of the topic, and use of complete sentences and proper grammar.
