I\’ve been dreaming of writing a book. I\’ve tried one too many times; but it\’s either I was too busy with something else, or I was terrified at the thought that life will never provide me with good materials. Besides, instead of being inspired by those brilliant writers out there, I get frustrated at the thought that I will never come up with good ideas like what J.K. Rowling and others have. I can\’t even provide you with the simplest instructions. The struggle I have right now is just an unbearable enormous wrestling.
Recently, my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer\’s, and as the youngest in the family of six, I designated myself to be her caregiver. So, I have been taking care of her for more than a couple of years now. I left a decent career in the Philippines together with a hot girlfriend, too. I don\’t regret my decision as I believe in destiny, so to speak. If that career and that girlfriend were destined to be mine, no matter where I go, I\’d end up with them. Besides, the law of Karma tells mo too that something good\’s in store for me because what I am doing right now is nothing but kindness.
So, for the instructions, what I need is just a spring board, so to speak, because over the hardships I get from writing and the pains I get from taking care of my mother, I still want to write. The truth is, I have already drafted the blueprint of my book about my experiences with my mother and her disease, but I can\’t seem to come up with how to start this book. Therefore, what I\’m asking is like an introduction.
If you could provide me with the most trivial part of Alzheimer\’s disease and some legit experiences that you have heard from people who went through what I am going through right now. Thank you!
