why you think the Netflix analogy makes sense here, or why delivering and using kilowatt-hours is fundamentally different than an iPad experience.

Project description
Picture an assembly line, making any kind of physical product electronic equipment, clothing, food products, or even heavy transportation equipment like aircraft or railroad locomotives. The informed product and informed process views challenge us to think that every hand that touches a control every action taken on that factory floor in fact is in reality knowledge being put to use at that moment to transform and reshape one aspect of a physical system into another, and in doing so to add value to it.
Some would argue that it is this viewpoint that distinguishes an informatics or Code Halo centric view of manufacturing, from the more traditional views of manufacturing information management and control systems design and operation.
Do you agree? Or is calling the work that\’s done on the assembly line knowledge work twisting our definitions too far, bending them out of shape? Is it too much hype and not enough substance?

Take sides in this discussion. Argue your point, and show us why you think the Netflix analogy makes sense here, or why delivering and using kilowatt-hours is fundamentally different than an iPad experience.

Self Assessment

As part of the self-assessments, take a series of very short self-assessment quizzes which will help gain an understanding leadership traits and styles. There are no right or wrong answers to these quizzes. They are designed to provide some insights into leadership skill sets.
There are no prescribed minimum or maximum word limits for the weekly self-assessments; however, it is suggested that these written reports range from 1,000 to 2,500 words per module. These reports should reflect the findings and conclusions that students get from the self-assessment quizzes and from personal reflection.
The exercise must conform to the requirements of APA formatting, to include cover page (running head with ABSTRACT PAGE with KEYWORDS, page number, title, author, university), a TABLE OF CONTENTS PAGE, APA-level headings and subheadings, proper in-text citations, and a reference section at the end.

Capital Punishment and Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Garnering all of the information about constitutional rights and the justice process you have received from this course and your understanding of the personalities of the U.S. Supreme Court, prepare a six to eight page paper (not including the APA title and references pages) in which you detail the history of the Supreme Court from 1953 to the present day as it relates to one of the specific issues listed below. Evaluate the terms of the Warren Court (1953-1969), the Burger Court (1969-1986), the Rehnquist Court (1986-2005), and the current Roberts Court (2005-present) to your chosen issue, listed below. Examine the political philosophies of each court, and indicate significant changes in the law concerning your chosen issue that was witnessed through each courts era. Then, examine the current makeup of the U.S. Supreme Court and modern trends in constitutional law and criminal procedure. Based on current trends, discuss whether or not you believe the criminal justice process will fundamentally change or remain the same in the foreseeable future for your chosen issue: Capital Punishment and Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Point Reyes Coastal Vulnerability Exercise

Open the PPT and read through it once before starting to answer the questions. Along with the PPT file is an Excel spreadsheetView in a new window that you will be working on and handing in. Open that up and note the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet. The directions on what to do will refer to these tabs and inputting formulas on specific tabs. Do not put all columns and formulas on the first tab. Go through the PPT with your spreadsheet open and read the directions carefully as to how to complete the assignment.

What to hand in:

1. Excel spreadsheetView in a new window all filled in with formulas etc…..and with all questions answered. You can answer all the questions directly in the Excel spreadsheet on the last tab. There are 2 sets of questions to answer. There are 4 questions within the PPT (found on slides 4-6) and there are also \”End-of-Module\” questions found at the end of the PPT and also on the last tab on the spreadsheet. In this case Module refers to the Point Reyes exercise/module and not CANVAS course modules.

The Lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring

Using specific examples from your chosen film, write an initial post of at least 200 words which should

Identify three actors from your film and classify each according to the acting category listed in your text.
Explain your reasons for classifying the actors as you do. Use specific references to the film and pay special attention to how these decisions impacted characterization. Also, consider the impact of any realistic or stylized portrayals within the film.
Focus on one of the actors youve discussed. Based on other films the actor has been in, would this actor always be placed in the same category? If so, what does this say about the category or actor? If not, what can you infer about the flexibility of these categories? Provide evidence (references from other films, including film clips and stills) to support your argument.
You must use at least two outside sources, in any combination of embedded video clips, still photos, or scholarly sources.

China in Africa

Homework 1: Case: China in Africa

In chapter 2, Read the Opening Case: China in Africa and answer the following questions:

Describe Chinas strategy in Africa.
If you were the head of a Chinese business that was operating in Sudan, how would you address issues of business ethics and doing business with a repressive regime?
If you were a foreign businessperson working for a global oil company that was eager to get favorable government approval to invest in a local oil refinery in an African country, how would you handle any demands for paybacks (i.e., bribes)?

Please answer these questions to the fullest I will be uploading a PowerPoint of chapter 2. Please use reliable sources if you use anything other than the PowerPoint. When answering the questions you can put yourself in my shoes since a lot of the questions are opinion- although they should be backed up by sources that tell why that would be the right thing to do. Thanks you so much!
