Formatting:

All versions of the persuasive essay should be in 12 pt. Times New Roman font. The document should have 1 inch margins. The document should be double-spaced, with no gaps between paragraphs (Go to ParagraphSet Before and After Spacing to 0 pt.Set Line spacing to double).

a 2-3 page (double spaced) paper discussing the following 3 areas: (a) pick criminal trial currently in the news — explain what the case is about; (2) chose the prosecution or defense — then map out the evidence you would use to prosecute the defendant or defend your client (be specific, what witnesses would you call, what exhibits would you use at trial, would you call any expert witnesses?); (3) explain what you believe the jury verdict would be — do they always make the right decision?
