I haven\’t define the the exact title of the paper but the main idea is to have a paper that discusses the similarities/differences as well as the advantages and disadvantages of patenting mobile APPS from the conventional patenting of an invention. Additionally, I would like to discuss how the law might be falling behind on the patenting of APPs. Perhaps include/mention cases were the court had to intervene due to the lack of regulations/statutes. Thus, eventually provide recommendation on the modifications needed by the government.

I\’m in the process of developing an APP for smartphones and I\’m thinking If I can do my research and Final Paper on how patenting APP defers from a conventional patenting discussed in class. Additionally, the discussion will also cover how the law might be behind on the patenting of APP. Of course that includes a discussion of the prior and ongoing cases and my recommendations on the modifications needed by the government. I would kindly appreciate your feedback on my topic and any ideas that I should take into consideration or incorporate to make the paper more interesting.
