You may choose one of the general topics below, or you may choose a topic of your own based on the relevant readings. The latter option requires my approval. Here are my topic suggestions:
1. Searle considers six objections to the Chinese Room, numbered in his paper I-VI. He offers a response to each one. Select one objection to analyze. 7. Explain Singers basic view in his paper Animal Liberation. Be sure to include an explanation of his concept of equal consideration. Respond to his view.
