On completion of the module students will be able to:
1. Analyse the current context of public health policy formation
2. Synthesis public health evidence (both quantitative and qualitative) from a range of sources and identify the contribution of this evidence to the formation of public health policy
3. Demonstrate the contribution of logical framework analysis to planning a public health programme
NOTE:
Write a 2,500 word essay in which you present a plan for a public health programme, in a chosen field, including a logical framework (of approximately 1,000 words) and a contextual narrative (of approximately 1,500 words) locating the plan within an analysis of appropriate public health policy. Relevant public health evidence (quantitative and qualitative) that relates to the appropriate public health policy must also be included
