You have to answer the two questions below separately as two pieces.
1. Gender plays a crucial role in Dazs stories, both in terms of the narrative voice and in terms of the themes. Trace how the stories subvert the overt sexism they put on display.

I am sorry but this is completely wrong. As I mentioned in the question, you had to relate Smith’s essay with the second question not the first one! And Erber’s essay with the first question.
