Assignment Task Innovation through creativity is an important factor in the success and competitive advantage of organizations (Woodman et al., 1993) as well as for a strong economy (Drucker, 1995). Today, almost all organizations face a dynamic environment characterized by rapid technological change, shortening product life cycles, and globalization. Organizations need to be more creative and innovative than before to survive, to compete, to grow, and to lead (Jung et al., 2003; Tierney et al., 1999). A widely accepted definition states that creativity is the production of novel and useful ideas, and innovation is the successful implementation of creative ideas within an organization (Amabile, 1983, 1998; Amabile et al., 1996). Thus, creativity is at the individual level, while innovation is at the organizational level (Oldham and Cummings, 1996).
Interest is growing in the influence of transformational leadership on creativity and innovation. Transformational leaders raise the performance expectations of their followers (Bass, 2005) and ‘seek to transform followers’ personal values and self-concepts, and move them to higher level of needs and aspirations” (Jung. 2001: 187). Researchers have studied the effects of transformational leadership on the performance of followers and organizations in the past decade (e.g., Dvir et al., 2002; Howell and Avolio, 1993; Lowe et al., 1996). Today’s transformational leaders has information coming to them from many sources and they must cultivate an open mind to that information. We live in what’s been termed a VUCA worldvolatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. The more feedback mechanisms, the more you have organizations where people realise that no one person can have the best solution. The best ideas may come from a 20-year-old who’s living in Shanghai or Doha. It’s a constant feedback loop. Some of the best leaders have the ability to incorporate what might be referred to as a compass, or a broader purpose. However, a purpose statement, or a vision statement in itself is not a strategy. But it is a compass. We live in a world that is looking for quick hits, looking for quick action. But there has to be a trend line. Those compasses, those purposes. help drive that. A compass, or a purpose, just gives you a sense of where true north is. What we actually stand for? (T. Wolstencroft, McKinsey 2015)

Is the life skills training intervention effective in increasing readiness to change in homeless population with mental illness and addictive disorders? ( She crossed out addictive disorders and wrote this comment: This is pretty good. Setting and Population of Interest
I work at a homeless shelter in Laguna Beach. The homeless shelter is an aspect of temporally housing. It provides shelter, food, clothing and other basic necessities to the homeless population. This homeless population consists of men and women over eighteen years old who have mental health disorders and substance abuse history. The shelter also connects clients to local mental health services for evaluation for mental health disorders and to receive appropriate treatment. The shelter also provide services such as substance abuse treatment, counselling, psychotherapy, other services to help clients better their lives. The self-sufficiency program has counselors who work one on one with clients to develop weekly goals and set up deadlines. However, some clients do not follow through. Clients with substance abuse disorders often deny that they have a problem. Clients get overwhelmed when they do not meet a deadline. Clients who are seeking employment get discouraged from being turned down by employers. Some voluntarily leave the program.
Rationale/Significance of Problem
Helfrich, Chan, Simpson, & Sabol (2012) state that research shows that transitioning to a new environment is likely to increase anxiety before or after transitioning (Helfrich, et al., 2012, p. 8). When people enter homeless shelters, there is more pressure in assisting them gain employment and less emphasis on their overall health and life skills intervention. The literature recommends adults with a mental illness at risk for homelessness participating in a manualized life skills intervention (Helfrich, et al., 2012, p. 8). Intervention topics included money management, food management, safe community participation, and room- and self-care (Helfrich, et al., 2012, p. 8). The life skills intervention help identify readiness to change (Helfrich, et al., 2012, p. 8). However, this practice seems unethical to judge people by their readiness to change to qualify them for services. The goal of treatment is to meet the client where they are. There is a lack of research on this topic. After the word topic, she wrote this comment : The way that you write this sounds like you are saying that anxiety is the cause for decline in transitioning to independent living. Do you want to add anxiety as a variable to your question. Maybe something like, Does Life Skills Training Decrease Anxiety in Homeless veterans transitioning to independent living as compared to homeless clients who do not receive life skills training? That may be too wordy.

Grading for Week 3..This was missing from requirements:
*Identify the type of legislation, such as state, federal, scope of practice, reimbursement, loan repayment, or others.
*Describe the current policy or health policy issue and specify how it would impact nursing or healthcare.
Attached would be all the work you have done including the powerpoint which information needs to be part of final project putted together.
Project is minimum 12 pages, so far I have 8 pages in total counting the info from powerpoint as 1page since its very short.
I need the evaluation plan as final step. I am ordering 3 pages now. They don’t need to be all for the evaluation plan, you can use then as you like adding also the missing info from week 3, getting to a total of 12 pages.
