ACTIVE LEARNING  Post at least 200 words Include at least 2 scholarly sources in APA format (citations and references required)Do not write in the first/ second person for your MAIN posts ( replies ok ) – Please read up on this a little more: Module 2Answer the following two-part question. In your text, there are five goals listed for the initial responder to a crime scene.1. In your opinion, which of the five goals is the most important? 2. Which would you categorize as the least important of the five goals?     Module 3Suppose that you were the initial responding officer to a major crime scene that appears to involve multiple murders. You have observed several victims’ bodies within the scene that you feel, based upon your experience of seeing many deceased persons, that they are obviously dead. EMS has also arrived and you tell them that you are securing and controlling the crime scene according to your departmental policies and procedures, and therefore they cannot enter the scene. The EMS personnel demand to enter the scene to “verify” that the victims are actually dead. As you are dealing with the EMS personnel, your department’s police chief, your boss, arrives at the scene as well. The Chief has no actual involvement in the investigative process, so you tell him that you have executed scene security and control as instructed and guided by department policy. The Chief tells you that, “policy is fine, but he is going to go into the scene and look around.” As he lights a cigarette, he begins to lift the crime scene barrier tape that you have installed, indicating his intent to enter the scene. What are you, as the initial responding officer, going to do given the issues that you now face regarding your obligation to secure and control the crime scene? Include within your answer thoughts around the Saint Leo core value of respect. Module 4You have responded to a crime scene at a local high school. Apparently a bomb has been detonated in the student parking lot. Two vehicles have been destroyed and burned as a result of the explosion from the bomb. As the vehicles burned, they exploded in two separate explosions, sending debris into an adjacent four-acre field utilized for football practice. You have called the local AFT office, and you were advised that there were no agents available to respond to your situation, as they are all busy fighting terrorism; you must work the crime scene on your own. You have decided to set up a search of both the parking lot, which is littered with debris, and the four-acre field. Your goal is to find fragments or remains of the original bomb. The lead investigator who is assigned to the case wants you to advise him of how you will handle the search in order to maximize the results.  What instructions and search patterns will you advise the searchers to utilize for a thorough search of the entire crime scene?  Module 5 1.What is the purpose of photographic placards (references) in a crime scene photograph? 2. What is the purpose of taking two sets of photographs, one with placards, and one without?3. In your opinion, if you sketch a crime scene, what are the essential elements that should be shown in your sketch?

Southeastern Bell stocks a certain switch connector at its central warehouse for supplying field service offices. The yearly demand for these connectors is 15,000 units. Southeastern estimates its annual holding cost for this item to be $25 per unit. The cost to place and process an order from the supplier is $75. The company operates 300 days per year, and the lead time to receive an order from the supplier is 2 working days. Prepare a 3-4 page APA formatted paper to address the following:

Lab

Take a minimum of 5, quality pictures are required to demonstrate the process of you conducting the lab. Consider how quality photography is important in crime scene investigation ( you may include more pics)Picture # 1 – an overall shot of all of your supplies.Pictures # 2- 5 document the process of you conducting each step of the lab (you may include more photos). Include a picture of your final developed latent prints. IMPORTANT. Insert your pictures into ONE word document and LABEL photographs – do not submit multiple attachments. Submit as a Word Document only. ( .doc or docx)In the SAME document, provide your 1000 word synopsis in accordance with the lab instructions. APA title page and abstract REQUIRED. No reference sources are required but it is always best practice to integrate research to your assignments- good practice!LAB ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PHOTOGRAPHS

Fifty True Crimes and How Forensic Science Helped Solved Them, The Kennedy Investigation Case. Review this case study from the perspective of a forensic or crime scene investigator. Then answer the questions below. What do you find unusual or of interest as a forensic or crime scene investigator working in today\’s technological environment? What in your opinion was mishandled in this case based upon what you have read regarding the case in your text? In your opinion, do you believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted as a lone assassin or do you think that he had someone helping him  assassinate President Kennedy? From the perspective of the crime scenes resulting from this assassination, what aspect would you consider the most critical or important? Use the Saint Leo University library to enhance your study and investigation of the subject case and increase your understanding of the importance of this case to the field of forensics.

Communication 5

Please respond to of the following:Keeping in mind all of our course material to date, describe the communication skills you feel are needed to be an effective interviewer AND also an effective interviewee. How might an awareness of the communication process, as discussed in Lesson 1, help an individual have success in an employment interviews?

tows analysis

Understanding the strengths and weaknesses inherent in a community collaboration setting is important because it serves as the underpinning to being able to turn the effort into a successful project. In this discussion, prepare and post as an attachment an initial TOWS analysis for the case you are creating in your assignments. In your post, discuss your findings. Focus in particular on the four quadrants and the adaptive strategies that you can use to overcome the negatives and accentuate the positives. APA typed paper in word format.

Chemistry; calculating the concentration & moles of solutions.

Just a coupe of uni level chem questions! If you have any issues especially in the second one, read the uploaded document to get an idea. Question 1 – iodine solution standardisation:a) Calculate the mean (average) volume of the titre values you have chosen. Justify any exclusions you have made. [Average is found to be: 0.74 Litres]b) What is the number of moles of Vitamin C present in the 25.00mL you pipette into each conical flask?c) Using the balanced Equation C6H8O6 + I2 = C6H6O6 + 2I- + 2H+ , how many moles of iodine, I2, must have been present in the amount of iodine solution you titrated?d) Given this number of moles and the average titre value, what is the concentration of your iodine solution? Question 2 – Apple juice investigationa) Calculate the number of moles of iodine, I2, that was involved during the redox reaction. (Hint: you are calculating n because you know c and V. What equation should you use? [n = CxV]b) The equation for the redox reaction between iodine and Vitamin C is provided again below. Using this balanced equation, how many moles of ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) in the apple juice reacted with the I2 on average in each titration? C6H8O6 + I2 = C6H6O6 + 2I– + 2H+c) Given the number of moles of ascorbic acid and original pipette volume, what is the concentration of Vitamin C in the apple juice you tested?d) The concentration you calculated in Part c) is in mol.L-1 . Convert your concentration from Part c) to g.L-1 (hint: What equation relates number of moles and mass?)e) Convert the concentration from Part d) to milligrams per litre (mg.L-1 )f) Now convert the concentration from Part e) to milligrams per 100 ml.g) How does your experimentally determined Vitamin C concentration compare with the value given on the juice bottle?h) List the experimental errors that could lead to a discrepancy between the determined and the advertised value.i) Considering your experimentally determined value and the possible sources of error, make a comment about the accuracy of the advertised amount of Vitamin C present.
